Our are usually for all Year levels at either end of T1 / star of T2 (depending on the length of term 1).
Then in 2nd week of Term 3 for VCE / VCAL and last week of Term 3 for all other year levels.
Focus tends to be both on what has been achieved and the areas for improvement (hence only VCE/VCAL at start of T3: too many semester based subjects haven’t had cahnce to assess yet).
Depending on the time and suitability of venue, either use a different room or engage an LSO to do the additional supervision (particularly if the teacher has to move to a new class or yard duty).
Ours is the same title “Learning Diversity Leader”
We run a 10-day timetable (5 x 60 mins a day). The 10-days provides far greater flexibility for scheduling, particularly in allocating different time allocation for Learning Areas. For example, some subjects have 5 or 7 lessons across the 10 days, which is not possible with only a 5-day cycle. It also means that there is greater opportunity to scheduled classes on different days and different times of day to avoid the same classes being lost to public holidays, pupil-free days, etc.
Thanks Kelley – will contact them (found website already)
Thanks Louis. ANZUK have been great for CRTs, but not when we’ve tried for Admin staff.
We will determine closer to the date but are looking at one afternoon / evening on Zoom; one in person. Survey of our parents last year indicated 64% preferred Zoom, 29% in-person (& 7% via phone)
Definitely using the funding in 2021, starting with some recently retired staff and some on forms of leave / PT that permit this.
We have cancelled all exams this term. Unit 3 exams will be held at the start of Term 3. We are considering have end of Yr 11 exams being Unit 1&2 combined.
