At Aquinas we run 6X50 over 10 days. The Pros and cons for public holidays, part time staff, different times in the week, an odd number of classes over the two weeks are all factors which have been well canvassed above. Happy to talk about it more.

At Aquinas we had two phases.
Phase 1 Weeks 1&2 Year 12 Videoconferencing in the doubles other periods anytime learning, 7-11 anytime learning, core subjects only, ie the teachers set work and the students worked on it independently.
Phase 2 10-12 Weeks 3&4 Videoconferencing in the doubles other periods anytime learning. 7-9 two contacts per week in all subjects, anytime learning for the rest of the time.
We tried to establish independent learning for most students for a period and then support it. We also talked in detail about the most effective use of videoconferencing.
